From September 21. to 28., 2024, the region's talented nature guides and chefs will celebrate these sought-after treasures from the forest floor throughout the week.

At some of the area's finest dining establishments, you can savor dishes and special menus that highlight the best of forest mushrooms, paired with excellent local ingredients from land and sea. Additionally, you can join free mushroom foraging tours led by knowledgeable guides from Natur Kultur Varde. These tours will provide a comprehensive introduction to edible mushrooms and poisonous varieties, followed by an actual foraging adventure. You'll also receive an overview of your collected mushrooms, along with tips and guidance on how to use the edible ones.
